Interglide will take place at Hamilton Farm Airstrip. https://www.hamiltonfarm-cl.co.uk/

  • For visitors that are flying to the UK: Heathrow Airport is 83 miles from the flying field; Stansted Airport is about 85 miles from the flying field.

  • If you are driving from overseas and you arrive at Dover Ferry terminal the map and directions below will be helpful. (Also works from the Tunnel - M20 towards London gets you onto the same route).

  • For What 3Words users:
    • Entrance for the contest field and free basic camping is ///agents.hips.panel
    • Entrance for Caravan Club site entrance is ///owners.life.played

Camping

Two regimes:

  • Basic camping facilities will be available on the field in the area outside of the fenced off Caravan Club site. These consist of a fresh water supply and portable toilets. They do not include use of the Caravan Club site showers and toilets. Cost is:
    • £10 per unit per night (units which include a camper van or caravan)
    • £5 per unit per night (units which don't including a camper van or caravan) 

Book when you register. Please camp well away from the Caravan Club site.

INTERGLIDE HISTORY

The British Association of Radio Controlled Soarers (BARCS) arranged for the inaugural Interglide in 1982. It was styled “World Interglide” and was organised by the Coventry Club as part of the BARCS 10th anniversary celebrations.
