Fliers based in Britain are sometimes criticised for lack of reciprocity: it's said that we're keen enough to encourage overseas fliers to come to Interglide (which we certainly are!) but less keen to fly abroad ourselves. There may have been something in that but we're getting better, with a good number of people planning to fly continental European comps in 2025. Here is a report from Mike van Erp (Interglide publicity guru and rising F5J star) of his recent visit to Larissa, Greece, for the F5J Eurotour there. Mike achieved a splendid second place. His report really communicates the excitement, and the learning opportunity, of flying in another country. Well worth the effort - give it a go!

Overseas pilots will be aware that most will need an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorisation) to come to the UK. Apply soon if you don't have one already - price-rise comes in 9 April.

(Irritating but ETAs are a quick piece of bureaucracy, not a significant hassle. They're not visas!)

Very pleased to report that Philip Kolb will be at Interglide this year. Philip will be giving a talk on the Saturday evening, before the Interfeast event meal. And will be flying the competition!

Interglide 2025 is launching now!
